"I had no hesitation in seeking Wendy's help when my two retired Polo horses needed healing. Both horses were showing signs of lameness and heightened levels of stress with related behavioural issues during October of 2017.

Wendy allocated her time each day to work with each horse on alternative days. Both horses were able to be ridden within a week and within two weeks were calm and no longer stressed about being apart allowing them to graze contentedly in separate paddocks. Wendy has also dedicated her time to provide me with appropriate advice to help the healing process.

I have been amazed with results that Wendy has achieved in such a short time and I am truly grateful for her dedication to help those in need of healing. In my humble opinion, Wendy has an incredible talent to connect with and heal when it matters most. Based on my experience of her work with my horses, I have no hesitation in recommending her work in healing animals".

INNDIE & RAFFLES

Three months prior to contacting me, one of Robert's other horses, Gracie, had passed on and Inndie, her field companion, had been left alone, so Raffles had been bought into to keep her company.  Both Inndie and Raffles are retired polo ponies.

Even though the horses are relatively new companions, they have not bonded but when separated they are both anxious, tense and calling to one another and looking for one another.  Whilst previously it had been possible to hack out on a solitary basis, this had become just a battle of wills.

I was to work remotely with both horses and realign their energy to improve their physical and emotional well being and improve their confidence.

HEALING JOURNEY

Day 1:  I connected with Inndie and Raffles and did my usual gentle introduction session.  It can be quite disconcerting for an animal not accustomed to being remotely communicated with to suddenly have the experience.

Day 2:  As I connected, Inndie showed herself as having a quite a sense of humour and being a playful horse.  She showed me herself deliberately and wilfully picking grass and then tossing it to one side, which seemed a little unusual, however when I had an update with Robert, he laughed.  During paddock maintenance, he would dig up ragwort and then plant a clod of grass over it, Inndie, when able, would pull these out and toss them.

Robert also confirmed that Inndie did have a playful nature and sadly recently hadn’t be evident, however yesterday morning she had taken bale of hay from shelter into the field.  These bales had been in situ for several weeks and ignored.

Both horses were really relaxed and loving and did not want Robert to leave.

Day 3:  I connected with Raffles, who showed me that she can be a little unpredictable and could lash out and kick.  Robert confirmed this and also that she head shakes when trotting.

Day 4:  Continued gentle visualising work with the horses and re-aligning their energy.  Robert confirmed that “Inndie is super.  She has just had a full groom and is no longer sensitive!”

Day 5:  Connected with Raffles and literally experienced in my body pain shooting from my elbow, through my jaw into my head.  I sensed Raffles had been previously hit in head with mallet or ball.  Robert confirmed that she had a scar on her cheek and is very head shy.  She also has arthritic fetlocks and has been very stiff recently.

Day 6:  Update from Robert to confirm that he has just seen Inndie and Raffles grooming each other for the first time and were now grazing next to each other which is completely new behaviour.  He also observed Inndie being curious about the farmer working in the next field, previously she would have been stressed.

Day 7-9: Continued doing realigning work with Raffles

Day 10:  Robert had been able to do some ground work with Raffles and she did loosen up and she stiffens overnight.  There is a noticeable improvement in her behaviour as she is no longer trying to bite!

Robert confirmed that both horses were quite relaxed now and even laughed as he recounted that 2 cows escaped and had wandered up to the fence.  Previously both horses would have been stressed by this but now both were just alert and interested.

Day 11:  Both horses spent 5 minutes galloping and bucking through the paddocks.  “Wonderful to see them enjoying the rain”.  Raffles is in a happier mood than she’s been in for a while which is lovely to see.

Both horses are really comfortable being separated were choosing to graze in different paddocks for periods of time.  Raffles is no longer biting and there seems to be no pain through her shoulder now.
